Year-Round Accommodation
St. John’s College offers quiet, comfortable and well-appointed guest rooms to academic visitors to UBC. Guest rooms are furnished with a double or queen bed, private washroom with shower, telephone, television, coffee maker, bar fridge and data port.
Other College facilities and services are available to guests, including card-operated laundry, common kitchens, and faxing and photocopying for a nominal fee. Pay parking is available across the street in the West Parkade. We regret that the College cannot accommodate those under 19 years of age or pets.
Meals for Guests
Dining with College residents in our spacious Dining Hall is an integral part of the life of the College, and participation in the meal plan is mandatory for all guests. Dinner is served Sunday through Thursday and includes a choice of regular or vegetarian entrée, salad bar, soup, freshly baked breads, beverages and dessert. To view sample menus, please visit the St. John’s College Dining Society. Beer and wine may be purchased at dinner. Continental breakfast is served daily.

Double – $122.20/night Queen – $132.70/night
Friday and Saturday
Double – $107.80/night Queen – $118.30/night
Room rates are subject to HST (12%), unless paid by UBC Journal Voucher. Room rates are for single occupancy, include meals and are subject to change. The charge for an additional guest in the same room is $19.20/night Sunday-Thursday and $4.80/night Friday-Saturday. Meals are non-refundable but they are transferable (dinner tickets only.
Summer Accommodation May – August
During the summer term, St. John’s College offers summer accommodation rooms to academic visitors to UBC in comfortable single rooms furnished with a twin bed and private washroom. Guests dine with College residents; dinner is served Sunday through Thursday and Continental breakfast is served Monday through Friday. The minimum stay is 7 nights, with payment due on arrival.
