FAQ

To be eligible for the SJC Early Start Orientation program, you must have received an offer of residency at St. John’s College and be registered full-time graduate student.

The program is full of activities, sessions, and resources that we have been both thoughtfully created and curated.

You may submit an application through your student housing account (account you logged onto to accept your Residence Contract).  The application process opens on July 21 and closes on August 7, 2025.

The program itself is free. You pay for room and most meals. That’s it. That’s all. That is how important we feel getting an early start into the SJC community is for our new residents.

What you will pay:
$60 per night for room rental (plus cost of meals, approv $25/day)

When the application process is opened, you will be able to put in an application through your housing account where the nightly room fees will be added.  The meal plan cost will be billed to you by our meal plan provider, upon your arrival.
